As you can see from the above graphic, Ashby absolutely mowed down the Marlins the last time he faced them. Burnes going deep last night will certainly help the Brewers as Ashby probably can’t go a full starters workload regardless of how well he does.

I don’t have a lot of faith in Ashby doing anything.    Maybe we will score some runs to today.   Brewers are 2-1 favorites today.    I don’t see it

Don’t worry, I’m sure Peralta will pitch today too.

Phillies conceding the game with a position player pitching after going down 13-4. At worst, we will have a chance to end the night tied for the final wild card spot with a win.

Also, the weather forecast doesn't look too good for getting the final two games in. May get tonight's game in, but tomorrow is a stretch.

Unexpected result.   I didn’t think the nats would do anything this weekend

If the Brewers were serious about fans showing up for the AZ series, they'd go 50% off ALL seats, not some lameass offer of 400 level seats only.

They may not make as much at the gate, but if you double the fans on cheap ticket deals the last series, that is double the fans to OVER spend on concessions

Win-win..

Or, if they can't bring themselves to do half price tickets, offer free parking for the series.

Am hoping Peralta would be available for Tuesday. But yeah, chances are pretty good we'll see him tonite.

I’m sure he will. Guessing Tuesday is a full blown bullpen day with Ashby/Peralta/etc and they probably figure Woodruff/Burnes will need to put the team on their back the other days to win the WC anyway.

Astros throwing three consecutive bullpen games confirmed.

Thanks, Bob.

Are the Astros going to let their best players go a week without playing? I'd be pretty surprised if good pitchers don't get some innings, if not full outings.
