Game Thread (10/03/2022): Diamondbacks (Henry) at Brewers (Woodruff) - 6:40 PM CDT

How come David Stearns is not in the TV booth tonight saluting the fans for supporting the team throughout their playoff run?

It would be a nice gesture -- considering his deflating the team and fans with his trade with the Padres in midseason.

Are we really going to lose 4 of 5 to the Fish and Dbacks with our playoff lives hanging in the balance? Really?

Losing to the DBacks shouldn’t be surprising. They have a better record than the Brewers since the break.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

If I were Stearns I'd stay in hiding.  His actions at the trade deadline doomed this season big time IMO.

They are a better team

actually name a team we can beat in 7 games.    There might not be one

Put Burnes and Woodruff on that team and they would be in the playoffs and a tough out to boot.

Literally NOTHING about this team is fun or entertaining.

Time to complete the season package holder satisfaction survey I received today.

Thats where they ask how much you enjoy the ballpark food, in,park entertainment, etc. They’re hoping that a good overall ballpark experience will overcome a dull product on the field.

Forgive the lame analogy, but these recent games remind me of watching my 18yo dog decline in miserable fashion before we finally had to put the dear guy down. ?

Be brutally honest and say you want more than a nice seat and cheap food and beer.  Otherwise "crowds" like tonite will be the norm going forward.

And they play in a much better division.

I intend to be brutally honest. My daughters and I are leaning pretty heavily toward not renewing our seats. This was the second year in a row that the games we have attended have been brutally dull with just a couple of exceptions.

ETA I started the survey and it was about companies that advertise with the Brewers at the park and on broadcasts. I didn’t bother to complete it.
