Watching the Astros' contact-oriented approach in that 5th inning is so refreshing compared to watching the Brewers try to score runs this year. Hopefully Sal Frelick and Brice Turang will help next year in that regard.

One inning away from the second no-hitter in World Series history...

Going from tying the WS record for most HRs in a game to being no hit (ok, still 2 outs away) in the next.

Its perfect because it’s proof for whichever truth one wants to believe.

Monentum only lasts as long as the next day’s starting pitcher.

The game is too all or nothing strikeout or home run.

The postseason is a mostly random enterprise.

The truth I want to believe is they’re all true and untrue (along with a bunch of other truths and untruths) to varying degrees.

& that’s why baseball is the best.

This is absolutely NOT meant as snark, as my Saints ...like the Packers... are pretty poor this year.  But are the posters who couldn't wait to move on from the Brewers and get into the NFL season starting to long for the return of baseball season?  I sure am.  Opening Day is March 30.  And the World Baseball Classic starts March 8 (IIRC).
