They won't do it, but given the O-line situation today, it'd be better to start Jordan Love.  No idea what we're going to get out of Zach Tom at LT if he indeed is the starter.

Zach Tom will start at left tackle, with Nijman at RT, Jenkins at left guard, Meyers at center, and Runyan moving to right guard.

The fact Allen Lazard is the top WR on this team is pathetic. Who thought that was a good idea to go into the season with? Then the rest is a couple injury prone and old WRs…plus some rookies

Was there really not other logical options to pursue to avoid this incredibly predictable situation.

Challenge over 3 yards... ?

If it's a clear drop why not?  Challenges aren't as valuable these days when all turnovers, scoring plays, and anything under 2 minutes is reviewed.  Plus 3 yards is a big deal near the goal line.

Amari strikes again. That should really seal his fate as the returner but we know it won't.

I mean the receiving corps is a disaster and that bum has touched it once all year. Shouldn’t even be on the roster.

He adds zero on offense. If he can't wave his arm and catch a punt he provides no purpose on the team.

I think I’d rather risk Jaire at PR over any more Amari.  It’s just ridiculous.  We live with obvious problems until they torpedo games, then make changes.  Disgusting.

I was actually thinking the same thing with Alexander. And you can add playoff in between torpedo and games.

Anyway, victory to hold Washington to three I guess.

I wouldn't want to risk an all pro CB but there must be other options, Hasn't Lazard done it before?

Why not? Teams did it with Deion Sanders. I think the risking injury angle is overplayed.

Hasn't Jaire actually been injured doing it though? Anyway the overall point isn't who's going to be a return threat but who can field a kick and not fumble. It's a low bar that several rostered players can do without risking injury to one of the top 3 or 4 players on the team.

I hate this offense. It's either launch one long that has no chance of being completed or a screen pass.

The playcalling shows they have no trust in the Oline today.
