That Nimmo contract is nuts. Was projected at 5/110 by both MLBTR and FanGraphs.

Granted he is two years younger and his profile is slanted more towards offense (and there is the shortened 2020 in there too), but Cain was more valuable over the three seasons leading up to him landing 5/80 from the Brewers than Nimmo has been over  the last four…

Regrettably due to the comps (and partially to the new labor agreement) the Brewers (and several other clubs) will be relegated to the 2nd and 3rd tier free agents as they’ll never be signing a 20 million dollar a year player from another club.
