  • RHP Ryan Brady promoted to AA Biloxi from High-A Wisconsin

Congrats to Ryan.  Well deserved!  Who had Ryan Brady as the first of the 2022 draft picks to make it to AA?

Undrafted, so an even better story!

Misiorowski might be the saving grace, but definitely struggling a little with the hitters... I wonder if you could say Luke Adams has the highest ceiling of the hitters (will obviously have more of an indicator when he's 20 or so)

Biloxi Press Release:

BILOXI, MS – The Biloxi Shuckers and Milwaukee Brewers have announced that LHP Nick Bennett has been promoted to Triple-A Nashville.

In 18 appearances and two starts with Biloxi in 2023, Bennett has struck out 41 in 42 innings. Bennett previously made one appearance with Nashville during the 2022 season.

The active roster stands at 27 players.

***

In June of 2022, Bennett made one AAA spot relief appearance, it didn't go well.

Nick's a pretty cerebral guy, he'll accept the challenge. Congrats, Nick!

Just wanted to point out that as far as listing any 2023 drafted and non-drafted signings as official, we'll include those in our Link Reports and in this thread only when the Brewers formally announce them.

On our Draft Forum, there is a thread that has kicked off for non-drafted signees, the first player has been listed but not officially by the team (likely physical pending).

I’d much rather have Eddy Alvarez or Jahmai Jones - maybe even Keston Hiura - as the Brewers DH than Jesse Winker

I truly don’t understand how or why he hasn’t been DFA’d yet - he’s had plenty of opportunities & over half the season to produce … mind-boggling

I much prefer an outside acquisition to any of the three mentioned above but Winker & Rowdy Tellez are on thin ice as far as I’m concerned … I’m ready for change if only for change sake

it is odd that Winker isn’t getting starts against RH pitchers but retains a 26-man roster spot

I am told that Alvarez did exercise an opt-out clause, makes sense given his productivity this season.
