Biloxi Press Release:

BILOXI, MS – The Biloxi Shuckers and Milwaukee Brewers have announced that LHP Nick Bennett has been transferred to Biloxi from Triple-A Nashville. In a corresponding move, RHP Kaleb Bowman has been placed on the 7-Day Injured List retroactive to July 13.

With Biloxi, Bennett has made 18 appearances and two starts, including a season-high five innings of one-run ball in his final start before moving to Nashville. In Nashville, Bennett made one relief appearance against the Columbus Clippers.

The active roster stands at 28 players.

Seems like some draft picks will be signed very soon hence the transfers to 60 day IL to open up stateside minor league slots.

Who knows if there will be a chain reaction, but the guys who started along with him Saturday at low-A and AA also have a case for promotion

Wondering what the Brewers' innings goal is for Misiorowski this season....would be ecstatic seeing him getting a handful of AA starts and winding up with about 75IP across three minor league levels for the year.  Thinking there's a legit chance he's in Milwaukee at some point in 2024 as a reliever after getting some innings logged as a starter between AA-AAA to start next season, ala Burnes and Woodruff

He threw 78 IP last year. Would guess they are shooting for around 100-110 this year.

Currently at 51 IP this year with the Futures Game.

In the postgame audio interview with Mudcats Manager Victor Estevez that was embedded in Wednesday night’s Carolina site game summary, Estevez indicated that Perez was sent to Milwaukee for further analysis of an injured foot (broke a bone in his foot running the bases on Tuesday).
