It’s nice that Perkins can bunt, but with a runner on second and a lefty at the plate I’d like to see if the hitter can advance the runner by hitting the ball to the right side where he might get a hit instead of just giving up the out. 
 

Bunting tells me that they don’t have much confidence in Perkins hitting major league pitching even though he grounded a single to right field last night.
