Nice job by Freddy of settling in…….unfortunately 3 may be too many for this offense to overcome.

Gausman is good.

Brewers are just missing the mistake pitches or not swinging at them.

Gausman has had 2 bad starts this season……at the Astro’s and at the Red Sox…….every other start……3 runs or below. This is his 4th start if 6 innings or longer with no runs……..he’s good.

Elite SP who pitched great today.

Brice might need some time at triple A when Adames gets back…….just can’t afford to have this many black holes offensively playing meaningful innings.

He might be good at getting K’s but I’d rather have a pitcher prevent runs.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Which Gausman is also quite good at.

Coming into today he had a 72 ERA-...that seems quite good. That's 21st among qualified SP and that's only going up after today.

I’ve been laying in my couch with a cold, watching this game. Good lord this game is boring.

Must be going around today... I'm doing the same.  Well, not your couch...or even my couch.... more like my lazy-boy, but otherwise the same.

The standard Tellez standup triple!

Can we get undercover ace Freddy back please?

Needs to keep his fastball up higher to make use of its movement, as well as keep that slider in zone a little more. It's either too far out and being spat on, or being hit when he hangs, it. his best season (2021) he was dotting it on the outside corner

I think Fred makes a lot of pitches that are acceptable to good 0-2, 1-2 pitches. The problem is he isn't at 0-2 or 1-2 often enough for them to be effective. More than enough talent & stuff. The maturity/consistency isn't where it needs to be, yet.

Man, you really need to be a superfan to follow the crew these days. Unfortunately I started following this team closely right before the Hader trade last year.

Feels like ever since Mitchell got hurt, this offense has been on a steady slide to the bottom.

Unfortunately a collapse like this is multi-faceted and complex, there are no easy solutions.

A roster which I don't think was terrible to open the season, but no splash players. Underperforming guys. Injuries. Maybe a coach whose message is getting stale and who can't get anything turned around? Heads need to start rolling and changes need to happen soon.

Anybody else disappointed that CC didn’t bother having either of Toro or Caratini hit today while the Blue Jays sent three RHPs against us?

This team is horrible at watching fastballs go down the center of the plate.  If it is a fastball and it is going down the center of the plate you need to be swinging at it.  I don't care if the count what the count is.  If the pitcher is going to give you a nice pitch to swing at swing at it.

A lot of guessing at the plate. A LOT. I think most hitters do that to some extent, but on other rosters you see people, when fooled, are able to get a piece & stay alive with a foul ball, or take if off the plate. When we guess wrong, too often it seems like we have no chance.

I seriously wonder if the Brewers just rushed him back too soon because of all the OF injuries and Perkins looking so overwhelmed in the MLB. He didn't have any spring training and only played 5 rehab assignment games in AAA. He's never been an amazing player but he's also never looked this bad for this long before.

Taylor IMO had some pretty good ABs early on, but not much to show for it. Now his ABs are getting worse if anything. Curious as well as disappointing.
