So I badly wanted an ask me about my wiemer shirt, so I had 50 of them made! They finally arrived and are available for sale! Let me know if you are interested! I'm new to this forum, but I am local to Fondy.  Attached is a picture of me wearing it for the first time last night!

Mostly just ask permission, we say yes most of the time as long as it's Brewers-related.

Used to be a trade sub-forum for stuff like this so the main sub-forum didn't have to be people joining the forum to sell us T-Shirts.

so you're saying the reason you came to this site is to sell T-shirts?

I’m curious if you will be able to  sell all 50 before getting a cease and desist letter for using the player’s image and likeness without authorization.

It is probably not the best idea to advertise unlicensed MLBPA merchandise on a Brewers fan website where anyone family, Friends, agents, team employees can see it.

Also, the seller wasn't a member of this site previously, seems he only joined to sell his shirts.  I just don't think this is the best look for this group.

How is this ok? He is not authorized to sell Wiemer’s image, I’m guessing. Stand outside of AmFam and sell them there. If they will let you, that is.

It is not legal but it is also not illegal.  Though this site has probably opened itself up to a cease and desist order if MLBPA wanted to pay for the lawyer to do a one off.

Normally companies go through Etsy, eBay, etc. and then submit a mass cease and desist letter to those companies.  The probability of MLBPA doing this for such a small amount is unlikely to happen.  Though if more are sold I wouldn’t be surprised if the site receives a cease and desist order.

If the t-shirts wouldn’t have Wiemer’s face on it then this would be fine though could still get a cease and desist order.
