I hope people have somewhat changed their tune about run prevention vis a vis having an actual competent LU after watching this series. It matters, it matters ALOT.

Brewers scored 7, 5 and 6 runs this series.

With their normal run prevention they would have swept the Braves.

I still believe run prevention is important.

We scored 18 runs in the series. More often than not you're taking 2/3 doing that. This Braves team is special

I mean give me a LU that mashes like that all day every day and average to below average run prevention and I will take my chances every time. Plus, it's just so fun to watch

Brewers have a brand new 3-4 in the lineup. If either were Braves they might be on the bench. That's kinda crazy.

Weren't the first five in their lineup all-stars.  Probably a lot of teams you can say that about.

Now the hope is that they don't play down against the upcoming competition as they did earlier in the year.  A nice stretch to make somethings happen coming up.

I hope they take their frustrations on the Nats starting tomorrow.

Geez, who tinkled in your Cheerios this morning?  No need to jump down my throat like that.

Their comment made me laugh. That's all lol means. You can either take it or leave it. You're obviously leaving it, but I don't give a crap.

So, it made you laugh that I have an opinion that the strike zones on TV and other sites are not necessarily an accurate presentation of the actual strike zone?

Sounds kind of dismissive doesn’t it?

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Reds and Cubs start a four game set tomorrow.

Reds are not a team to worry about so go Cubbies.

My apologies, it was a joke. Should have been in blue.

Run prevention is sone corporate buzzword nonsense like boots on the ground

Some dude was like I have a bunch of terrible hitters but it’s a huge master plan called run prevention

Here’s your magical run prevention.    Sandy Koufax.

I think it's kind of funny opinion in this case when every public system showed it was a strike.

How utterly disgusting and disrespectful. Even if it was a joke, you don't call someone "lady".

This guy...gets it. It sounds catchy and all, and the corporate get the fans to buy into it, so it takes hold and then becomes a disease. The Braves see your "run prevention" and raise you a LU full of mashers and below average run prevention and it has gotten them the best record in baseball with the biggest run differential.

No problem.  Without the blue font it is hard to decipher tone and intent on forums like this.  😊

No. You don't call someone "lady" under any circumstances. Just don't call people names. It's not that hard.
