Yes sorry 9 game winning streak. But hey we lost to the Pirates so the sky is falling and they are trash and will miss the playoffs.

See how nice he was correcting you !

Burnes is no longer our game one starter. He has fallen down the ladder.

He shouldn’t have been Game 1 starter in 2021… couldn’t go on 3 days rest…. Which limited Woody to one possible game in a 5 game series.

He just had a great outing last week, though. He still is WC Game 1 starter for me. The better question is who doesn’t start in that three game series.

We have played far too many games like tonight

Those stats don’t change the reality of a bland team that has one of the worst offenses in MLB

We also have an ace who often pitches like a league average pitcher

I’m very comfortable expressing my frustration on these in game threads

No amount of “get perspective - the sky isn’t falling” will alter my posts

Your positivity doesn’t change the fact that this team is not good enough to win anything if it sneaks into the expanded playoffs

Since June 1st the Brewers are 13th in the MLB in runs scored.

Since July 1st the Brewers are 11th in the MLB in runs scored.

Since August 1st the Brewers are 10th in the MLB in runs scored.

The offense has been fine over the last 3 months. Yeah they have nights like tonight where they can't string enough hits together with RISP but they have just as many other nights where they do string together hits and score runs.

Burnes coming into today had an 81 ERA- which was 27th out of 105 pitchers with 100 IP this season. 19% better than league average ERA and 27th out of 105 SP with a reasonable amount of innings pitched = league average pitcher I guess.

I'm guessing your grandma isn't going to let you out of her basement. Like you said you have no problem meeting up so let's just do it. No big deal. You can go all Buster Olney on me with your stats.

buster olney is a nice guy      I’m ok with his hot stat action.    It’s The Brian Kenny is the world who are absolute turds.

Yeah me misremembering how long the winning streak was isn't the same as bulldogboy being negative in every single game thread and making up things to be negative about when those things are very much not true.

So you are talking foolishness about me being negative in every game thread. Where are the stats to prove this? Sounds like an opinion which according to you nobody gets to have. Clearly I've angered you to the point of distraction with my take but then again I don't understand why you're still here since according to you we all just upset you with our lack of facts. Of course you can't remember how long the winning streak was last week but everyone else has to be buttoned up with facts. Ridiculous. Lol

Do not say things you have no interest in meeting up to say. If you do just message me.

This is just gross.

High school.

Doesn't matter what we think, CC will start him in game one.  End of converstation.

Well in that case shut down all message boards.

Another woops from the facts police. Lol

Must be super weird seeing someone say something not accurate and correct themselves when they realize it was incorrect. Real foreign concept to someone like you whose reaction to being corrected by someone is trying to physically fight them.

Thanks for the stats

Milwaukee’s offense is good some nights & not too good other nights

Same for Corbin Burnes

There are far too many nights where both underperform

Tonight was one of those nights

Not really. I generally don't get bothered enough by things people say to even comment. I take it everyone has a take if I don't agree I keep scrolling. Only weird dudes think they have to weigh in on what someone else has to say that they don't agree with. It's funny you keep misremembering things while you trying to correct everyone else. Check yourself before you check everyone else. Imagine thinking it's your role here to correct me. 😆

Literally did that right above and you even commented on me checking myself. I try to keep all my comments based on fact/reality and not wild opinions that aren't remotely associated with reality like your post that started all of this. Your post that said Burnes throws all of his pitches around the same speed and that's why he struggles when in reality he doesn't throw any 2 pitches the same speed other than his 2 FB especially with his new sweeper that he's using in place of his slider.

FB Sinker - 95

FB Cutter - 94

CH - 89

SL - 85

CB - 80

4 pitch types with unique velocities and movement profiles. Not even close to 4 pitches that are around the same velocity.

Would be interesting to see how that compares to the other playoff teams.

This is where I miss the scoring stats that used to be available for free on Baseball Reference. But, I think it would be safe to say that the Brewers last 18 games have been unusual.

They have won 11 of those 18 games and have scored 5 runs or more in each of the 11 wins and 2 runs or less in each of the 7 losses. Their high average in the wins hasn’t been skewed by any huge totals; their highest is 10.

One of the Brewers strong points in recent years has been winning close low scoring games, but it hasn’t been that way the last few weeks.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Again you could have posted this response without the name calling and acting better than. Everyone can appreciate data. The acting like a jerk is what we can do without. Simple. Your point gets lost in the garbage of name calling especially given you could choose to say nothing at all. Take a look at your original response and tell me it was necessary aside from your data.
