Yep. At .391/.472/.565/1.037 after tonight. More walks than strikeouts.

That’s what’s most impressive to me is the fact that he’s cut the strikeouts way down and is making remarkable contact. Something just clicked about halfway through his season in Biloxi.

Mejias putting that highly erratic 2023 season in Biloxi on the backburner! You love to see it.

Chourio went 3-5 in what could be his final game (original sources were 15 games, but some speculation it may be 20), including a stolen base and a double. If that is his final game, he's finished with a .362/.439/.517 line for a .956 OPS overall. with seven walks to seven strikeouts

Carlos D Rodriguez went 2-5 also in Navegantes 12-1 win, raising his average to .298 and included a run scored and an RBI

Chourio out of Zulia's lineup today. Looks like he'll finish his winter with a .379/.453/.530/.983 line 8 BBs, 8 Ks in 75 PAs. Next time he sees at-bats should be in big league camp.

2021: .204/.250/.286/.536

2022: .256/.291/.354/.645

Over after 15 games, the numbers speak for themselves, even if you don't translate.

But if the translate is accurate:

"In his words, last year he became a better hitter, this year he broke the league".

I'm guessing he was a bit more humble.
