Ugh....that is my biggest fear.

Murphy should probably be removed for his hazing scandal alone, but of course we never hear about that.

With Cousins out for the year with a torn Achilles, maybe we can package Love in a trade for a high draft pick (maybe a 3 or 4th).

We knew exactly what had happened live.  You saw the Achilles simply snap.  Can't blame the turf for that one.

Cousins REALLY wants to be like Rodgers...

I feel bad for Cousins...but not for the Vikings - that injury honestly puts them in a really weird situation for their season and for the longterm health of their franchise.  Do they now try to resign Cousins for the next few seasons at going rate for veteran QBs knowing he'll be fortunate to start Week 1 2024 and be 36 coming off a ruptured achilles?  When are they going to offer Jefferson a WR market-setting contract extension?  Or do they look at the holes they have elsewhere on the roster along with guys getting long in the tooth and look to make a splashy trade or two before the deadline knowing this season is done for?

It sucks now in Packerland, but at least they have a young quarterback they can continue evaluating over the next 1.5 years if they really want to under contract while making other longterm roster decisions that should set them up in better salary cap and talent positions.

The Cousins situation resigning with the Vikings  is similar to the Brewers and trading/signing Corbin Burnes for the 2024 season minus the Achilles. Should we or shouldn’t we?

Except Corbin is in his prime.  Health is a huge differentiator.  Signing Corbin is about $$ and budgets.  Signing Cousins is more about the direction of the team - rebuild or patch up the tires and see if they can get another 1000 miles off of it.

I think the Diamondbacks show the Brewers with Burnes could make the World Series next year.  The Vikings need a talent influx to be a Super Bowl team.  Not at all the same.

That’s embarrassing.

What more do you want?

Plus the NFL has a much better and more equitable system to share revenue. MLB has the worst revenue sharing mechanism in all of team sports and it’s no even close.

Nice use of the Sarcasm tag.  It seems like it is a lost art, recently.

Wait... should that have been in blue?  🫣
