Didn’t have much faith in that kick. Carlson had just squeezed in the last 2 on much shorter kicks. Hot garbage tonight on all phases.

good thing they burned a timeout to take a 10 yard loss and then turn a gimme FG into a miss...what a stinker of a game

That was about as bad as sequence as you could ever hope for.

Love ran himself into a bad throw.

Yah, they were blaming that on the pressure. Seems like he could have set his feet and made a strong throw. The WR was wide open and had plenty of room. Instead he made a weak throw too far from the WR…thus lead him out of bounds.

There - that's how you do it - keep your interior rush lanes and keep DeVito in the pocket.

Only took them four quarters to figure that out.

Not that it's primary, but the Giants and DeVito have played a perfect game.  No sacks, no turnovers.

The Giants are acutely aware of exactly what they are.  Their O-line is absolute trash in pass pro, and DeVito is kind of a spark plug running around. So they move the pocket and do a lot of bootlegs, rollouts, and designed runs.  Nice plan.  It would be cool if we had anticipated it.

Oh good.  There's the cute play that kills the drive.

I think I've seen enough reverses

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

This is what happens when you have a young team thinking they're better than they actually are after playing a few good games, and taking an opponent lightly...and your best wideout that's really made the offense look legit goes down with yet another injury and your defense still really can't stop the run when it has to.

I think they'll still find a way to win this game, for some insane reason...but it isn't surprising this game coming off a big Sunday night home win is giving them problems.

Wait how? No way they winning this game.

How many times has that happened tonight?  2nd and medium turns into 3rd and long.

I mean Devito has been fine but the Giants have hardly been perfect which is the only reason we're even in the game. That one botched punt return alone gifted us 3 points.
