BA is probably highest on Basallo than the others, still need more for 3 years of a top 30-40 starter in baseball.

I’m holding Peralta unless blown away, and since teams rarely trade their best prospects anymore, he can start game 1 in the ‘25 & ‘26 playoffs, then I’ll take the pick and the pool money.

BP has Basallo at 13 and 70 OFP, so not really.

If the O's wanted to offer us, say Basallo, Ortiz, and Povich for Freddy, I don't know how Arnold could say no.

I’d probably do that deal even though I’m not that high on Povich.

For Freddy?  Oh man....I'm not sure if I'm taking Basallo back as the centerpiece in a deal involving Freddy.  I think I'd need Mayo, Ortiz, Povich and Horvath coming back if I'm giving up Freddy to the O's.

Basallo>Mayo.

Has there been a whisper that Milw is entertaining a Peralta trade?

Freddy started and threw the most IP of his career. He learned he was tipping pitches early in the season.  He's getting paid 3 years of what Burnes is being paid now. In his prime age. There is a ceiling here that he's not even touched.  You're definitely selling low right now if you trade Freddy vs a trade of Burnes selling at value.  Keep Freddy for 2 more seasons, then entertain a trade for his last. The salary is too good to not hold on to a ToR arm.  Especially as we figure out this OF depth we have and who's going to lead the team from it in 2025 ahead of Chourio without questions.

Trade Burnes ok.  Freddy? No way. Name a better SP deal in all of MLB.

"hey, let trade away cost control TOR pitcher for a guy that would be good in 3/4 years and a couple of ok prospects."

C'mon people...2025 will be the Brewers year. Not 2024,
