With the Cowboys extending Lamb I think this means they are going to stick with Dak and I think there will be a deal for him soon.

Good. So they're pretty much the same team as last season, just more expensive. And there will be no money to pay Parsons, who they should've paid before Lamb.

The same Dak and Lamb that couldn't get on the same page in the playoffs?  Yes, please. 😉

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

They'll definitely pay Parsons.

Dak is the bigger problem for them. They can't tag him this year...though it'd be insanely expensive, but they don't even have that leverage. So it's pretty much pay him 60M a year on another 4 year deal or move on.

I think Dallas would be fine if they could just fix that run defense. We jumped on them last year, they couldn't stop us from gashing them with the run, then that opened up the whole playbook, Dak starts pressing to try and stay in a shootout and it's over.

Dak is good enough to win if their D can keep them in the game and he doesn't have to win a shootout, but they remind me of the Packers in Rodgers last 7-8 years...except he could at least keep us in shootouts.

Oh well, I mourn for the honorable Jerry Jones and that fantastic Fan Base!

This all started with Adams IMO. Then Hill.

WR contracts are just so out of control at this point. One WR cannot be worth 34.5M a year, right?

They can't keep both of them. They'll have to release of ton of salary just to keep Parsons.

They don't have to really do anyThn thing to just keep Parsons other than pay him. Lamb's deal is now a 6 year deal. Not that big of a signing bonus. They'll just add voids and restructure it a few times.

They're still 20M under the cap and 30M under the '25 cap(So that'll be 50M with the carry over) and a ton of cap space the year after. ~21M of that is already going to Parsons. I'd expect he'd get a similar deal to Lamb, maybe more.

You can(and people definitely have) argued they shouldn't. Especially since Dak is going to get the biggest deal in NFL history, but Jones has plenty of cash to keep them together.

Gotta have a QB to get the WR the ball, and gotta have a good OL to give the QB time to get the ball to the WR.

I pay those positions before I pay WR.

Yeah, it'd be hard to let a WR like Lamb leave, but he'd have to be pretty damn special. Dallas has major problems with the middle of that defense though. They're not going to change until they stop the run and don't have to rely on Dak to carry them in the post-season.

Screw the Titans for putting the Bears in their place, and then pissing it all away and allowing Bears fans to now continue thinking they're a dynasty in the making.

That was one of the most boneheaded interceptions I've ever seen. That was like watching Hoby just give up that home run. The special teams were the only reason they were in the game and the Titans have now fallen apart. On the positive side, I haven't seen much out of Caleb Williams that would scare me.

Tennessee will be in the running for the #1 overall pick in next year's draft and they better get a quarterback because Levis ain't it. The Bears had no business winning that game.

I'm in a 12 team fantasy league and we also do a survivor pool (pick one NFL team a week to win, can only choose each team once). Eight of us, including me, picked Cincinnati. Two others picked Seattle who are currently losing but long way to go yet. We could conceivably have a winner after one week.

Bo Nix discovering that apparently playing in the NFL in real games against NFL starters is not quite the exact same as playing against 2nd and 3rd stringers in preseason.
