This recent stretch is reminding me of the beginning of the '78 season. People were hopeful that this Harry Dalton-George Bamberger thing would work out, then they went out & scored 40 runs in the first three games of the season. It was vs the O's, so maybe for oldtimes' sake, keep it going for a couple more days.

What a great comparison - I remember how much fun the beginning of the 1978 season was for the Brewers

For those not watching/listening, before Adames' AB McCann was really giving him a lecture, twice shaking his pointed finger at his chest while they were "discussing" something...It started to get heated and the ump had to separate them, then the benches and bullpens cleared, but there was literally zero actual physical altercation other than peacekeepers chesting up the belligerents. Umps warned the benches.

Yeah and I’m tired of these announcers trying to say Willy brings an aggressive edge or whatever. He’s like the nicest most friendly guy in the league, Mccann tried to talk down to him and point in his chest for no specific reason and Willy didn’t back down? Great, as he shouldn’t have.

But why aren’t they talking about Mccanns inexplicable behavior?

All hail the greatest SS MLB has ever seen!

It's funny...this team has 4 SS on its roster...and that team had 0.25 SS.  Heck, Dunn and Bauers might be better SS than YuniB

I assume we will option Monasterio & call up Hicklen or Wiemer since we have no OF depth with Yeli potentially out for a few days

Man, I really don't want Wiemer up again until he has some things figured out...

Fun atmosphere at Camden Yards and great to see the Crew continue to drive in runs. Brewers are 4-0 in games my son has attended.

It 'should' absolutely undeniably be (and very likely will be) Brewer Hicklen. He has been really good for the Sounds on a very consistent basis. Best bat in the line-up so far in 2024.

What's up with the Brewers and catchers named McCann? Wasn't there an incident where McCann (don't remember his first name) refused t let Carlos Gomez touch home plate after a home run?
