Low-A Carolina’s bats need to re-awaken to get back atop their even 2-2 home series against Salem. 21-year old RHP Yorman Galindez (1.93 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, 15.4 K/9 in 9.1 IP) aims to continue his stellar work. 1B Tayden Hall has a 6-game hitting streak.

Yorman Galindez recorded eight of his eleven outs via K with 3 BB and a solo HR mixed in.

Carolina picked up their lone run of the game so far when Tayden Hall and Kay-Lan Nicasia each singled, KLN stole second, and a Luis Castillo groundout scored Hall.

Osbriel Mogollon has followed up Galindez with 1.1 IP of scoreless relief with 1 H | 1 BB | 2 K.

Blayberg Diaz will lead off bottom of five trying to break the tie.

It was an inside the park HR on a play that Nicasia slipped on. Probably would have been a double/triple if it Nicasia didn't slip.

Two out rally going bottom of six as Tayden Hall doubled followed by KLN and Luis Castillo walks.

And a balk brings home Hall with Yhoswar Garcia at the plate trying to add on.

Honestly if we are talking about bringing up the best bat at AAA, Isaac Collins is probably the guy not Brewer Hicklen. Collins' surface and underlying numbers are both much better than Hicklen's.

Boeve has hit his 3rd double of the night to give Biloxi a 4-3 lead top of nine.

Does he have a BABIP secret? Lol

Kaleb Bowman (2 IP | 1 BB | 3 K), Sam Carlson (1 IP) and Justin Yeager (1 IP | 1 BB | 1 K) all went Zero Clubbing to help the Shuckers secure the 4-3 victory.

Eduarqui Fernandez has been on fire for Wisco going 3-3 with two doubles and 3 RBI.

They’ve just tacked on two more runs top of six to take a 5-4 lead.

Looks like Zero Club hopeful Brian Fitzpatrick ran out of gas after 3.2 IP of 3 H | 4 K relief work.

Will Childers is on to try and nail down the 5-4 win with a runner on first.

And catcher Ramon Rodriguez nabs Won-Bin Cho trying to steal second to seal the TRats victory.

Was wondering the same thing. Collins has a little more defensive versatility too. But until they make changes to the 40 man........

I'm beginning to think we're rolling with Wiemer & Chourio until Yelich is ready, then one of them goes down.

What's his stuff look like? FB velo, secondary stuff? Guessing he throws a sinker, change, something to induce as many GBs as he is thus far.

I'm a big Luke Adams guy, still believe strongly he can make an impact. But at this juncture I wonder if it might make sense to return him to Carolina & advance Tayden Hall.

Luke Adams has been an above league average hitter at A+. Why should he be demoted to Carolina?

This has been a disappointing start for Adams.  He always had a lot of swing and miss, and not a high BA guy, but would hope for power and OBP skills. So far very little.
Hall is older and is hitting consistently although no HRs, which is so surprising given his size/frame.

Adams is a fresh 20 year old who has been playing through a nagging injury. He has a 12% BB-rate, 20% K-rate, 7.5% swinging strike rate, 99 wRC+. I feel like people are just looking at his batting average and assuming it’s all terrible. People are talking about him like he’s been Jesus Chirinos. That’s someone who has actually been really bad.

Fair enough. Maybe it was last years start to the season that I am comparing to. And the fact that he did have a slower end to last year. But for a guy who is likely only going to be 1B/DH in the future, his hitting will have to propel him up. Forgot about the nagging injury, so here's hoping he can turn it on this year.

Chirinos has not been good. And also as far as 1B Ernesto looked like a legit prospect but appears to be scuffling as well.
