Joey Weimer hit .204 last year. He didn't make the club out of spring training, hit .220 at AAA, and was shockingly promoted when Yelich went down. Now he's hitting .143. With the vaunted Brewer farm system, is there no one better down on the farm? All it takes is watching one Wiemer AB, body parts flying all over the place, to see he's an awful hitter.

I've never understood the why we are sticking with the Wiemer Project.

Welcome to the board.

Wiemer is the only healthy OF left on the 40 Man roster. Yelich, Mitchell and Roller are all hurt.

Brewer Hicklen and Isaac Collins have both been hitting down in Nashville, but neither is on the 40 Man so it would take some shuffling beyond just sending Wiemer back down if they wanted to call one of them up.

While this is a fact the issue you could easily make a spot for them as the Brewers do not have 40 quality players on the 40 Man roster. You may as well dfa Miley since he's done for the year and maybe career. You owe it to the fans since you aren't spending any money to at least play the best cheap guys. Wiemer is not a serious mlb player and Chourio is being set back by this. Orioles sent Holiday back because he was struggling and they don't want to ruin him.

Hopefully the Yankees follow the Brewers 10 run rule in that 10 or more runs in one game means at least three games to score the next 10 runs total

Then let's get shuffling.  We can't afford to punt any more games because we aren't willing to mess with the 40 man.

In this division, every game is going to count come September.

Wiemer just has to go back down, just has to.

Not sure what to do with Chourio at this point.  I do not believe he should be here either, I mean all of this horribleness isn't good for him.

We desperately need Yelich back.

Weren't they experimenting with Tyler Black in the OF?

Ok a few things Wimer really needs to go down he is such a mess now. Feel bad for him. Jackson is overwhelmed not his fault the Brewers brought him up before he was ready. This staff with Rea and Ross is just bad Ross is not a major league pitcher and blame the Brewers for not going after one of those  Fa starter that was available before the season. Sorry this was a big swing and miss by the Fo

Dfa Miley is ridiculous. 60-day IL does the job of clearing a 40-man space. If anything, DFA Martin who has been hit hard thus far in Nashville

Way too early to send Chourio down still. Gunnar Henderson, Julio Rodriguez, Bobby Witt Jr., Elly de la Cruz, etc. all struggled in a similar fashion to start their careers, before eventually adjusting and becoming the players they are today. When you pay a guy $80 million, you have to give him every opportunity to figure it out in the major leagues. He's always shown the ability to adjust at each step of the minors. This is just the biggest adjustment of them all. Give it time, and meanwhile he can continue to hit at the bottom of the order.

I don't disagree with this, but we can't afford to have Chourio AND Wiemer in the same boat.

I agree, keep Chourio on his learning curve, butt Wiemer just has to go.  We just can't have them both in the line-up on a daily or even semi daily basis.
