Brewers hitters continue to let umpires take the bat out of there hands with men on base. It's ridiculous.

If you swing at that the best outcome is a foul ball.  More than likely that is a roll over ground out or a weak pop out in the infield.

Haven't really been following the topic so this is a serious question.....how close are we to having robo umps?

Triple-A is currently using both ABS and the challenge system.

So not until next season at the earliest. More likely 2026+ I think

Yesterday would not be soon enough ... long overdue

When things snowball for Peralta it is an avalanche.  He just can't settle down once something bad happens.

Busch has a Hiura like hole in his swing at the top of the strike zone.  Pitchers are going to eat him alive if he doesn't fix that.

Just one of those days. Not sure what it is, but Counsell should basically let the starter pitch the whole game because the hitters can't touch them.

That call was ridiculous - well outside

This is not about any one ab. This is a team wide problem that is sn issue. Umpiring is bad. Nothing new. Foul it off and get a better one.

Almost no hard contact against Peralta but way too much nibbling on the corners with the wind blowing in…….pitched Morrell like he was Barry Bonds…..just ridiculous

Brewer batting must have been a mirage the first 29 games this season. They’re back to their old tricks.

Or maybe the Cubs starters are just pitching great this weekend.

Dude catching every single day. He needs days off. Brewers refuse.

Don't question Murphy, unless you wanna' fight!  :classic_laugh:

When Levering is talking about beer snakes in the bleachers, you know Jeff Levering has given up ... of course, he does like to talk about food a lot, though.  :laughing

And most of the season…….also defense probably saved them at least 2 runs

It’s a long season…..sometimes the other team just plays better……..we’ve played a ton of road games but our away winning percentage was never going to be sustainable at this level.

We are certainly not as good as our record indicates.

I'm genuinely concerned about our starting pitching.

That concern is highlighted on days like today when our one "top notch" starter struggles.

Watching Gasser in Nashville today - he's likely not the answer.

We need two more quality starters or we need to consider 2024 a transition year & hope we are playoff competitive in 2025.

No!  We shouldn't have to fight off "balls" -- only "strikes" --> these umps are as crooked as a 4-dollar-bill!
