I personally think he is just not ready yet. Not that he won't be great. Heck he just turned 20 years old two months ago. 

He is in the league of a Juan Soto, Bryce Harper and, Robin Yount and Mike Trout. So I'm not worried at all about his career.

Small sample of only 20 PA, but in the six games since Jackson’s reset he has hit 278/350/444 (129 wRC+) with a 10.0 BB% and 20.0 K%.
