Assuming we won't bat here in the 9th, can we have more hits than outs? We already have more non outs than outs unless it goes to extra innings.

Top of our order is hitting .298, .323, .325.  It feels like our lineups the past few years have usually had one guy over .250.

Frelick quietly raising his average to .269 and on base up to .352.

They may never have high power numbers but it certainly makes a nice addition to a lineup if you can bracket him with some run producers.

I was thinking the same thing. Add in Ortiz at .285, Frelick at .266 - even Adames at .256 - and that's pretty solid.

I like to think that once Frelick gets his confidence as a hitter the extra base stuff will emerge. Maybe not 20 HR - but if he can get 10-12 HR, 30+ doubles, take his walks - stuff like that - he can be very valuable.

Herget has looked decent every time we have seen him. This team is very athletic. Great help when chasing flyballs.
