Who is your game one playoff starter?

Right now who is our game one playoff starter? I'm going Rea at this point. Even the Pirates have a clear cut number one if we had to face them. Brewers have by far the worst situation heading into a playoff series. Arnold needs to address?

It's no doubt Peralta unless they trade for a top of the rotation starter.

Of course I thought so too at one time but the more you look at the numbers I think it's Rea. I don't trust Freddy in a big spot. Rea seems like the best choice but hopefully it doesn't come to this.

Game 1: Freddy with lots of bullpen

Game 2: Opener, Rea and then lots of bullpen

Game 3: Bullpen

Expect multiple innings from Hudson, Hall and Bryse Wilson. That's how it currently sits imo for a playoff pitching schedule.

There's probably evidence to refute my theory on playoff matchups, but when a team knows it's out-gunned on the mound, I always think Game 2 is the most important game to win, as going down 0-2 is such a huge emotional hill to climb.

Hope Rea can keep them in Game 1 long enough for the offense to squeak out a Game 1 win against an ace. Hopefully he can go deep enough to save some of the bullpen for the "must-win" game 2.

Rea or Peralta, it is a toss up right now.  We do need another quality starter.

It will be Peralta or a trade acquisition. Rea would be fortunate to pitch in a playoff game. Talk of him being our #1 SP is out of control.

Probably doesn’t matter unless there are additions to the roster.

Regardless of who starts the Brewers are going to need a Herculean effort from the bullpen to have a chance in a playoff series.
