That's a tough tough loss for the Pen. BUT, Zastryzny has all the faculties and capabilities - given what I've seen from him in 2024 Nashville - to have a positive influence on the bullpen - like Koenig? That's a very tough ask. Koenig's range of pitches run 79/80-to-94ish. Sits 92-93 on his four-seamer. Sits on the four-seamer. Sprinkles in the cutter, slider, and curve for good measure. More a vertical break pitcher than a horizontal movement - on both the slider and curve. 

Anyhow, he has been mostly very very solid for Nashville in 2024. He has given up one or more runs in 7-of-28 outings, however.

Hopefully he will only be on the IL for 15 days. It could be worse,

Unless he returns immediately after the 15 days he'll have three weeks off due to the ASG, which sounds pretty good to me as long as they have to do this.

I guess the move to Zastryzny means they don't think DL Hall is quite there yet.

Hall is scheduled to pitch 4 innings in Nashville today.
