& a Lara single walks it off for Wisco !!

Single in the book, but that was a rocket off the wall in RF that likely is a double or triple if it wasn't a walk off.

Lara showcasing his full range of tools these past two nights. Always nice to he reminded of why we were and are so high on his overall game.

Hopefully this gets him going with the bat. The glove is there.

With tonight, Misiorowski has extended his streak to 6 starts with 2 BB or fewer and a BB% lower than 10%. That's quite the development for Misiorowski.

Jheremy stole second and has now moved to third on a wild pitch that also scored Tayden from third to tie things up.

What's with all the first-name basis stuff? Your Pat Hughes impersonation?

It’s gotten to the point that I wonder if it changes draft plans moving forward.

That's a REALLY good question. Even with giving up Barrios, I'd find it hard to imagine us going hard for INFers in the early rounds.

Only 6 walks all of June. Now that he seems to have reeled in the control issues I would love to see him in Nashville after the all-star break

I know Lara's very young for the level, but the bat has to be so much better than it is right now to even begin to think of him as a legit prospect.

I think control issues are improved but command still struggles. Some HR issues of late but if he can keep this up by the end of July then that promotion is definitely on the cards

I promise it’s okay to just be happy for a very young kid who just had his best game of the season without trying to rip on him or his prospect status.

College IF with power would work. In fact any college power bat works for me.

I’d prefer OF power over IF, but the weakness, positionally, of this system is power, imo, so any power drafted really helps balance out the system positionally.

I wasn't ripping him, and besides, he's not reading BF after his big game and looking for affirmation from anonymous internet posters.

I think anytime guys are pretty young for their league, we anon posters need to try and be patient. A lot of guys (Chourio?) need a couple of months to get their bearings before excelling in the 2nd half of the season.

For this reason, too, I'd prefer to keep Misiorowski in Biloxi until much later in the season. I know many posters would like to fast-track him to the big-league pen, but I would prefer for him to continue to refine and define himself as a starter at this point; let him get used to dominating. Even if he doesn't really get starts in Milwaukee until 2026, I'd be fine with that. He's only 22.
