We're facing lefty Justin Wrobleski in his first major league start. I don't know much about him, but my Dodger friend is very excited to see him pitch.

Left-hander making his first career MLB start versus the Brewers.....no good vibes about that prior to the game. Hope to feel much differently afterwards.

Brewers in the midst of their sixth three game losing streak of the season.

In each of the previous five instances they have won the fourth game.

Here is how the Brewers season has played out so far around those three game losing streaks…

10-3 (0-3) 7-2 (0-3) 3-0 (0-3) 16-9 (0-3) 8-4 (0-3) 8-2 (0-3) ???

A Sunday lineup backing a washed up pitcher.

Need one of those illogical baseball results to salvage this one. Has all the makings of a Dodger rout.

Today is the Sunday lineup of all Sunday lineups.

Sitting Monasterio and Contreras makes it the epitome of Sunday lineups?  Mitchell in for Frelick is a wash... Capra for Monosterio is a meh....IF Bauers and Frelick were in for Yelich and Hoskins...then it could be white flag territory...

I have a feeling this might be like the Yankees game where they drop about 20 on us

I think you should make a running log of all your posted feelings and see how correct your are.  This would actually be a hilarious BF.net endeavor, considering the data is all there sitting in front of us in the IGT archives.  At the end of the year somebody should tally up all the "predictions" and/or "bad feelings" and see how correct those posters are (i.e. Nothing personal to you in particular....it's a common trait here in the IGT).

HINT: I would read that BF article...and I can't say I've read many BF articles...

The Cards have been in striking distance for quite awhile. They have methodically trimmed down the 9 game deficit they had in mid May.

I guess the point is that with Ortiz out, and several players slumping, the Brewers already have a pretty weak lineup, as evidenced by their being one of the lowest scoring teams in the league since June 1.

Having one of the best hitters (Contreras) also out makes the lineup even weaker.

If you think it’s important to prove or disprove the accuracy of other posters’ off the cuff comments I think you should take on that assignment. I doubt if too many people would care about it though.

That’s kind of the whole point of the in game thread      Why would I want to interact with anyone who just states the obvious after it’s already done

(sees a single)   Nice single

(sees an out), he made an out

thats boring crap

Probably a wasted challenge. No clear look at whether the ball hit the line.
