If the guy in charge of music doesn't crank out Ghostbusters at some point tonight, it's a missed opportunity!

Definitely - a video montage of Ghost scenes would be appropriate on the scoreboard, along with Chucky, Jason, Freddy Krueger, etc. with a message at the end that says "Enjoy your stay in Milwaukee, Mookie. You'll probably be fine."

Reminds me of what I used to do to my nephews' kids when they were little. "Could you go down to the basement & get me a coke?" Then when they're heading down the stairs, "and whatever you do, DON'T BE SCARED."

FWIW, my wife once worked the desk at the Pfister & believes the ghost stuff.

Black being the guy up not Hicklen is kind of weird. Perkins has been a weak side platoon guy since Mitchell came up and Black is a LHH.

Yeah, and when you factor in the defensive emphasis they usually lean towards, too.

You might even be able to make a case for Collins over Black.

Collins isn't on the 40 so that's not surprising. Unless you meant Capra.

Yeah Turang first and Mitchell 3rd is kind of strange versus a lefty starter……..unless Kershaw has reverse splits or they like the matchups because Kershaw is a low velocity type at this point in his career.

i always try to resist criticizing lineup configurations because I know they have so much more information than I do when making these decisions.

No, I meant Collins. I meant in a perfect world, if they found a 40-man spot for him. I might even take him over Hicklen everything being equal.

Hopefully it's academic & we'll have someone miss a few days & NOT have to be IL'ed, for a change.

I get that Mitchell pretty much HAS to play tonite, but they've just about guaranteed he'll face Kershaw twice. If he's hitting 9th, maybe he only sees him once.

I've now set myself up for Mitchell to double off him twice, so there's THAT to look forward to.😁

Could perhaps be the last start of Kershaw's career vs. the Brewers...Of course, having said that watch him pitch like vintage Kershaw tonight because baseball.

Saw LAD had to DFA Rosario for Betts less than two weeks after trading for him.  Granted they didn't give much up, but still.  Have to think no way he'll get to us on waivers.   Essentially did LA just trade for him so another contender wouldn't get him for depth.

Yes please.

I worked at an old hospital in HS that was then shut down due to the new hospital being built but they kept the old folks home up.  Working in the cafeteria of that place and late at night all alone some weird stuff happened.  Like the magnetic doors opening and closing on their own.  Voices coming from the operating rooms that were chained and locked up.  Lights randomly turning on when there was no power to that portion of the hospital.

Feeling like someone is touching you but no one else was around.  Creepy stuff man and oh yeah the occasional old person escaping from the retirement home and them randomly just ramming their wheel chair into the elevator door and freaking you out when delivering the food to the retirement home.  I think that freaked me out more than the other stuff.

The Brewers have been shut down by some bum lefties who don’t have Hall of Fame level experience (even if he no longer has great stuff)..

It would hardly be a shock if Kershaw could shut down the Brewers for 5 or 6 innings today

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

What do you think would be more valuable for the season for the Brewers?

Burnes having the year he's having currently or us having Ortiz?
