AND, there goes the 'No No'. AND, there goes the Sounds 2-0 lead. Two out double put men on 2nd and 3rd. 2 out 3-run jack makes it 3-2 Bulls. Darn!

That unfortunately spiraled so quickly. Such a fluke double as well. Soft fly ball that barely stayed fair down the LF line.

I'm just glad Seymour isn't in AA terrorizing Biloxi anymore. He's the new Elko to the Brewers minor league affiliates.

He's kind of in that RHP Justin Jarvis territory between Double-A/Triple-A

Was that intentional? Jarvis for Canha. Canha for Holub.

Ok. Just getting back in tonight. And back into the routine after a week of travel and fun last week.

So - nice outing by CF Rodriguez- the 3 run HR aside. Sounds like a tough loss there (pun intended)

Biloxi - this is May/June offense again. Ugh. But Wilken with most of the offense so I’ll take that. Brock let’s end the struggles now. Now. Kuener a respectable line. I’ll watch hi tomorrow morning.

Carolina - extras. But what a starting line by young Josh Knoth. Seemed like a month of meh ok for a 19 yo. But this is an encouraging start based on stats. Too bad the lead crumbled. Let’s go Muddies!

And Wisconsin - the team of 2024. Rain delay. But at least Mr. Cornielle has shown his prior self in 3 IP after a solid 1 inning rehab “start” by Enoli Paredes.

Jacques with a good outing on the island. And no Made, Anderson or Peña = no offense.

Onto the 11th in Delmarva as,both teams trade runs in the 10th.

Shuckers go away quietly. Ugh July looked like they would be a dominant team. Lost a few key pitchers to promotion, and the offense which was deep is not so (as EBJ struggles, Wilken tries to break out of his funk, and Miller has been eerily quiet).

Ok. This week. I mean seriously??

After the silliness in the 12 th for Nashville against Durham.

Tonight. 4-4 game. First hitter bunts and up the 1st base line. Pitcher, catcher and 1B all go to the ball, Sanchez (pitcher) fields it and throws it ….. to ….. no one. No one covering first and the winning run scores easily. If he just let him go, it’s first and third no out. Sure not great. But to throw to no one?? And no one covers first??

Anyhoo - Mudcats lose 5-4 in 11.

TRats postponed. That’s a wrap for a Friday night. Some nice pitching performances, a struggle with the offense and some heart break losses.  See all tomorrow night again.

Knoth had a strong start. His first and last inning (first 2 outs in the 6th) were his best. In between he did give up some hard contact. His fastball was reported at 94-95 all night, got away from him in the in-between innings. His curve looked sharp and was his best pitch. Keeping hitters off balance. His pitch count got high in 3rd - 5th innings otherwise I think he would have finished the 6th inning, but at 80+ pitches I think it was a end on a high note.

The top 5th (I think is was 5th or 6th) they had two on no out and then bases loaded with 1 out, and no runs.
