I have like .01% faith we're getting the ball again. Since we technically can give up a FG I would have just done the kick onside.

In the old days when there were more successful onside kicks I often thought why not if you have to hold them 3 and out anyway. Now not so much..

Onside kick is just so hard, I get it. Kick away is the play, but I also have little confidence in the defense to get a stop here. Another game where the team can think, “aw shucks, if only” when they were total trash for way too long.

Nice comeback, but can’t dig this deep of a hole. The D needs to step up here, but after the day they have had, I don’t have a lot of confidence. Prove me wrong!

Predictable. You ever hear of a bootleg, Hafley? Did they have those in college? Because you didn’t look like you had any clue on those last two plays.

Packers kick the FG, don't get called offsides on the missed FG by the Viqueens.  That's the difference.

If I'm the Packers, I feel good about this and that they can play with anyone, anywhere.

Actually remarkably similar to the first game.

Nothing says “we’re not ready” like going 0-4 against the top two teams in your division. Woof.

I appreciate your optimism but they got their lunch stolen twice by Minnesota and came back once they relaxed only to have the game put away when they were pressured again. Realistically Minnesota dominated them thoroughly more than Detroit did this year.

But, any given Sunday I guess. Maybe we'll get lucky.

I don't know man, the NFL is sort of built to have these "witching hour" comebacks to keep fans interested. We were beaten early in 4th quarter and never got the ball back with a chance.

I wanted the Packers to lose a close game just for my own supstition as I didn't want them to peak too soon or have some win streak going into the postseason. That game didn't feel close though. It was a drubbing that had an illusion of being close the final 6 minute.

As a football fan though the final week with Detroit and Minnesota will be fun. Don't really care who we end up playing. I don't think we are ready and I will enjoy whatever game we get.

0-5 against the three best teams in the conference proves the Packers are pretenders. There are no moral victories.

Think people read too much into these late comebacks. We were dominated by Minnesota for 50+ minutes of both games. Circumstantially, we made both interesting, but the playcalling and flow is just so different near the end of these games. You can’t look at it in a vacuum and say we lost 27-25 like a wire to wire 27-25 game. We were never in control of this game.

It’s a good sign that a team doesn’t quit when it gets down late. That’s the positive that can be taken out of it.

Still rooting for Atlanta tonight as I think an Atlanta/Rams first round game is significantly more winnable. If Atlanta wins, our loss today is probably moot. That’s the other positive.

Well, now I don’t need to have any expectations in the playoffs, so that’s nice.

Same here, I sort of expected to lose today with the secondary so beat up and on the road but we got dominated until the last 10 minutes. Just not a consistent enough team for a run but what the hell, at least we get extra Packer football.

Yep. We may get one more shot. If we don’t come through on shot #6, that’ll be the last chance this season.

I felt this way until the first three quarters today. They have now firmly established the pattern that they get boat raced for a half plus against great teams, and that doesn’t play.
