Good baseball.

A questionable  bunt, a passed ball, and a bonehead play fielding a bunt going foul to let a run score..

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Is everybody happy now?  We can bunt for runs and hit 3 run homers in the same inning!

The first bunt was a "meh" decision poorly executed...anything but right back to the pitcher and it is fine--likely scoring a run or going foul.  The second bunt was great, Dunn vs a sidewinder lefty is a bad matchup...if it goes foul, no big deal, but he made sure he didn't do what Ortiz did and made the defense make a decision.  Good baseball.

Man you love those 3 run homers.

Good, well executed bunts are pretty awesome also.

I am kind of comforted that Patrick gave up a solo homer in a 7-0 game rather than nibble and walk a guy.  That might be my biggest pet peeve in baseball is walking guys with a huge lead.

Obviously when the NL went to the DH it changed the bunt percentage a ton but I'm curious how the trend looks since then.

Anyone know what the bunt percentage is in all of baseball compared with the AL from 10 years ago?

The Timber Rattlers sell one I believe.

Should be half price the inning after he hits a dinger.
