Not sure if Hoskins makes that or not. Either way, that was a huge defensive play that I think went somewhat overlooked.

I would be elated with Vaughn if he could carry a .240 avg the rest of the season with some power.

At least he's off to a good start with the Brewers, 2 for 5 and 2 walks so far.  That kind of tells me he doesn't swing at balls.

To my knowledge, that's never really been his problem. He has decent discipline, I think it's his contact rate that's usually a problem.

Considering he's been above that for every year of his career until a really bad start with the White Sox this year, I think it would be a much lower percentile outcome if that is all we are looking for.
