Another exciting prospect. Maybe we could get @Spencer Michaelis to do a podcast breakdown on his season thus far

There's not much to say about him because ACL games are not streamed. What we know from a couple statcast ACL games is that he's got some bat speed as he hit a baseball 113mph in one of the statcast games. He also posts video on his instagram at times. I think this clip of a grand slam earlier this year was from his instagram

Both DSL squads came away with wins on the island.

Blue won 5-1 to improve to 15 W - 12 L on the season.

Moises Polanco homered & walked while Carlos Done doubled, with Carlos Galindo going 4 IP | 1 ER | 4 H | 1 BB | 5 K to run his record to a perfect 4 W - 0 L.

Gold prevailed 4-1 (over the Cubs, natch) inching closer to .500 at 12 W - 16 L.

Jose Arias handled the bulk of the pitching with five innings of 1 R | 2 H | 2 BB | 2 K work while Juan Martinez (single, two doubles, stolen base) and Eryks Rivero (single, triple) provided most of the offense. Jonathan Rangel also singled and walked twice to keep that OPS north of a thousand.

Sounds win 3-2 scoring the winning run top of nine on a Jeferson Quero RBI double.

Daz Cameron (HR, single, walk), Quero (single, double) and Jorge Alfaro (two singles) collected most of the hits while Garrett Stallings turned in another impressive start going six innings of 2 R | 3 H | 0 BB | 6 K.

Craig Yoho (1.1 IP | 1 H | 1 K), Bryan Hudson (0.2 IP), and Joel Payamps (1.0 IP | 1 H | 3 K) zeroed out the final three frames.

Top of the order - Josh Adamczewski (two singles, walk), Handelfry Encarnacion (HR, double, two singles), and Jorge Quintana (HR, single) - propelled the ACL Crew to an 8-4 win with Engel Paulino (double, walk) and Jadyn Fielder (double, stolen base) also chipping in.

Tyler Renz allowed three runs with 6 H | 0 BB | 3 K over 5.1 IP to start things off and Ayendy Bravo finished with three innings of 1 R | 4 H | 0 BB | 3 K work.

Handelfry had one of the more impressive swings of the entire season - that is what I know.:

That is just wild for a young man his age. Given his Exit Velos already surpassing 110 mph and his ability to hit for XBH's with regularity...he's quite easily at the tippy top of the list of players I am most excited to see in full-season ball.

And at a system position of need. OF, and more specifically, power OF bat.

With Handelfrey, we now have 3 potential OF’s with power potential moving-forward, all at low A or rookie league, which is tolerable, with the team having Chourio (8+ years), Frelick (4+), Mitchell (3+) controlled for the foreseeable future, along with Lara, who imo, would be a nice trade-chip.

Hoping to add to this, imo, system weakness, Sun/Mon. Selfishly hoping it’s from the college realm that can get ahead of the trio, but I’ll take another power OF bat anywhere we can get them.

He's been featured in some sandboxes, but I can try to go a bit more in depth at some point! This week was pre-draft talk and next week will be post-draft talk, but I'll do my best to remember to include more talk the week after!

Absolutely. Appreciate all you do. I’m looking forward to an exciting draft

The AAA Sounds have split 2 games at Durham and have RH swingman Garrett Stallings (2.90 ERA, 0.87 WHIP, 6.9 K/9 in 40.1 IP) making his 7th start tonight. 1B Bobby Dalbec has a 1.090 OPS over his last 20 games (86 PAs).

I try to mix in a few innings of at least one farm club most weeks. With MIL off, I caught the back half of this game. Have to say, NASH carries the least amount of prospect interest to me currently. Quero missed so much time again, so I'm trying to see a few ABs from him. Black seems like a dude whose window is closing fast. Seigler's time there was kind of interesting. With the exception of a few pitchers, most everybody else strikes me as career minor leaguers necessary to facilitate having a team to develop prospects.

TRats got blown out 12-3, but don’t blame nasty Nestor going four scoreless with 3 H | 0 BB | 2 K.

Blake Burke singled, doubled and walked while Hedbert Perez hit his tenth HR of the season.

I watched the condensed version and they skipped entirely over Nestor's innings, so I assumed he did well.

This just in: the Timber Rattlers are a really tough watch at present. Yeesh.

Yeah, not much there that peaks my prospect interest. Am thinking of going to a game (never been at Appleton) to see if Burke, Areinamo and Dinges have a future.

All three worthy in that regard. Dinges, the most electric of the three imho, unfortunately has that hamstring issue that will leave him shelved for quite a bit yet. Dinges has legit MLB Star upside in that toolkit.

Seems a little scrawny for a catcher, but he's young. A little disappointed to see Burke not being the thumper he was expected to be, not yet anyway. MIL desperately needs a big bat at 1B for the near future. Judge is still out on Vaughan.
