The most important angle concerning Adamczewski's long awaited return (5/2 😭): He had a smooth return to the field with very few speedbumps. He felt good. Body maintained its health - ie recovery processes were encouraging. He makes it back actually healthy. Let's send out those positive vibrations so that he may experience continued health through the remainder of the season. Let's GO!

The High-A Timber Rattlers have lost 16 of their last 22 games and now play a 3-game set at Twins’ affiliate Cedar Rapids. RHP Ryan Birchard struck out 7 batters in his last start (4.1 IP, 3 R (1 ER), 1 H, 5 BB). C Blayberg Diaz has a 6-game hitting streak.

Might be catching a T-Rats game for the first time in a couple weeks. Seems like every time I catch a few innings on TV, they're playing the Kernels

After sitting out 6 games and DH’ing in 2 more, SS Cooper Pratt (.705 OPS vs. league-average .661, with 20 SBs) returns to the field for AA Biloxi, who’ve unfortunately dropped 7 consecutive games. RHP Brett Wichrowski is riding a solid 3-game run (18 IP, 3 ER, 10 Ks) and starts at Rays’ affiliate Montgomery tonight.

Look out Carolina League, DH Josh Adamczewski (.990 OPS in 111 PAs before an injury) is back for his first Low-A game since May 2! RHP Travis Smith (3.84 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, 6.6 K/9 in 61 IP) gets tonight’s start at Orioles’ affiliate Delmarva.

LHP Nestor Cortes makes his 3rd rehab start (4 scoreless innings on 54 pitches 8 days ago), this time for AAA Nashville as they host Pirates’ affiliate Indianapolis. LF Daz Cameron is 7-for-12 with 2 homers and 7 RBIs over his last 3 games.

Took one AB for me to say just get to the guy up to Appleton already. First time through the order he looked a cut above all the other Mudcats hitters.

Daz Cameron is just too good for AAA this year. 2 AB against Bubba Chandler tonight and 2 bombs.

Yeah I'd say he probably has a little over a week left in Carolina before he moves up.

I don't know about that. They might want him to get settled in after a lengthy absence before they promote him.

Either Areinamo gets dealt or he gets the long-deserved promotion. It is past time.  3-for-4, 1 R, 2 RBI. 10th HR. He is done in High-A. Give him his next challenge.

Being reported that he could make one more rehab start then be ready by Curt Hogg. Perhaps the velocity dip isn’t too concerning hopefully

Yeah it really is kinda ridiculous at this point that he's still in A-ball.  Gotta feel for the guy.

Yeah. Max 92.0 mph. Avg 89.2 mph on 41 total heaters? Not ideal
