From what I can tell, DSL Brewers Blue (23-21) is 1.5 games out of a wild card spot (last spot presently held by Pirates Black - who also lead today’s suspended game 5-3) and DSL Brewers Gold (21-23) is 1.5 games out of first place in its division (behind Pirates Gold).

You are probably correct, good Sir. I was being a wee conservative doing a cursory quick glance of the Standings. Given your acumen rapid fire sharing tweets today, I trust your insights!

Haase.

They aren't really comparable roster spots though, they're not using Seigler as a catcher.

No matter how they use Seigler at 3rd today he is not MLB ready at all.

You are entitled to your opinion, but I encourage you to take a look at the bigger picture here. Seigler was adored by the Nashville coaching staff. Absolutely adored. 3B is very new to him. Batting solely as a lefty is relatively new to him as well - historically he was a switch hitter. The Brewers love his approach - he is as old school as they get in the modern baseball era. Manager Rick Sweet referred to him as an 'Outdoor cat'. In other words, a born and bred baseball player. He's had 32-34 AB? He deserved this opportunity with consistent performance after a slow start. Whether you (or other fans) like it or not, he is likely going to continue getting opportunities. Remember, people were saying the exact same things about Durbin before he got games and MLB pitching exposure under his belt.

Ok, they are very good in Nashville but no one is 100% correct all the time and made mistakes in the past like with Tyler Black and Joey Wiemer. Some players just cant take they next step. I think Clayton Andrews was another one.

He has 34 plate appearances now and with the playoffs looming should be used as a sub for injuries or blowout wins only. The comment that he had a better OPS in the minor league is good for an MLB tryout but he has failed playing against last place MLB teams. Caleb Durbin is double the player of Anthony Seigler.
