Henderson to IL

I'm not sure Henderson going on the IL is fortunate.  We still have plenty of depth but I'd rather have Henderson than Tobias going tonight.

I would rather have Henderson pitching tonight also. 

For arguments purposes though, if we knew we only had 10 to 15 more innings for Henderson this season before we shut him down.. would we rather use them all up now or should we save a few for later in the season for insurance purposes?

Henderson had to catch a ride to the game with his parents he got the call so late. If there were some grand plan to have Misio milk things for a stint they probably would have taken care of those logistics sooner.

Woodruff intentionally wanted to slow roll things to hit the ground running in MLB, then got hit with flukey injuries along the way setting things back further. Of course a liner to the elbow will delay things.

Yes, Logan has a flexor strain. There is no angle because the Brewers have a stretch of 19 games in 18 days so putting another pitcher on the IL for no reason doesn’t really make much sense. A young pitcher 20 IP over his career high having a minor injury is something that happens in baseball.

There was no conspiracy with Hiura either, he couldn’t hit the high heat and still can’t.

You could be a PR front guy…..Brewers  manipulating MLB rules? Never!  And then the back door Hiura cut? Like a Ricky Vaughn change up….didnt see that comin.

Personally, I'd rather use them up during a 19 games in 18 days stretch that includes 5 games in 4 days against the Cubs.

He could be a PR front guy?  You could be one of those guys who has weird biases, makes stuff up to support them, and then acts like he actually knows something rather than nothing at all. Good thing neither of you is either of those things.

Sure but he would have only thrown one of those games anyway, no? Miz is coming back... So then who do you want him to replace in the rotation?

Bullpen, either he or Mis.  With 19 games in 18 days the pen is going to get a lot of work.  Might need to do some roster shuffling to have some fresh arms avaliable, especially if they get two short starts in 3 days like they have the last 3 days.

So maybe we can finally put the speculation to rest…….could be on the playoff roster but done for the regular season.
