Was hoping it was an "injury" or at least something not arm related.

Same here. With that said, if it doesn't end up being as serious as we fear, I believe he will at least be paid like an active player rather than as a AAA player.

But I'm never as good with roster rules as I think I am. One of the things that Brian Anderson mentioned in his interview on MLB Network today was how connected the whole 40-man roster felt to the success of the team this year, which made me think about those situations.

Color me suspicious on this injury as well. This one is as coincidental as the Miz injury.

Myers wasn't able to be recalled until Sunday or so unless an injury occurred...

Henderson cannot surpass 45 days on the active roster if we want to keep his rookie status next year.

Although Myers is now listed as tomorrow's starter, so I suppose they would have just thrown Henderson tomorrow and then sent him down for Myers after the weekend...

I dunno, I truly hope I am right and the Brewers are just playing sneaky chess. Cannot have another Gasser situation. But until further notice I am suspicious...

**post edit, by my count Logan has spent 26 days on the active roster, someone can fact check me on that .. so we have 18 remaining days he can be with us active if we want to holdover his rookie status into next year**

No need to panic yet. He's already past his career high in IP so they are likely going to be overcautious with any fatigue at all his might be feeling in his arm.

The fact they made it retroactive to Monday seems like a positive sign?

Apparently it was Henderson’s idea to manipulate his service time……..every injury is not “ suspicious “…….

sarcasm noted. hope you have a better weekend!

Who knows with this one

I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

Of course, then there's the luxury of being able to call up Myers. Depth is good.

...........And Gasser being elevated to AAA on his rehab odyssey. Yes, depth is very, very good thing.

Also Miller is back, and Zastryzny seems to be progressing well.

Am I missing something here?  They're adding 2 players and subtracting 1.

McGee was optioned after the game on Wednesday so active roster was only sitting at 25.

I hope the Brewers keep winning so we all have a good weekend.

i might have got a little snarky…….just don’t like it when people always seem to think the brewers are misleading us every time somebody gets hurt.

Especially in this case since there is no way the brewers would want to do put him on the IL with Miz already on the shelf.

Anyway…….its all good…….go Brewers!

Exactly.  In no way, shape, or form do the Brewers want to put Henderson on the 15-day IL when they are about to embark on 19 games in 18 days.

Still suspicious of other motives...can't help it.

Hoskins normally would be back, but Vaughn is raking. Bauers maybe the same.  Extend that IL stint....not sure where your ABs will be coming anyways. Good depth.

Miz isn't really hurt but he needs to watch his innings anyways.  Here's some attaboy mlb pay for 10 days. Just play nice.

Woodruff pitched for 3 months in the minors since our staff was lights out here.  That liner back was a great reason to extend longer.

Henderson is injured? Ok. What is the angle?  Not fair take, maybe not....but it is justifiable questioning given the history, and rightly so.

How do you know Hoskins normally would be back? You have a better grasp on Rhys health situation than the Brewers medical staff?

Henderson had to catch a ride to the game with his parents he got the call so late. If there were some grand plan to have Misio milk things for a stint they probably would have taken care of those logistics sooner.

Woodruff intentionally wanted to slow roll things to hit the ground running in MLB, then got hit with flukey injuries along the way setting things back further. Of course a liner to the elbow will delay things.

Yes, Logan has a flexor strain. There is no angle because the Brewers have a stretch of 19 games in 18 days so putting another pitcher on the IL for no reason doesn’t really make much sense. A young pitcher 20 IP over his career high having a minor injury is something that happens in baseball.

There was no conspiracy with Hiura either, he couldn’t hit the high heat and still can’t.

I mean, pretty much everyone who follows the team closely knows about the desire to limit the Miz's innings. There's little denying that the injury was pretty convenient toward that objective. They may not have planned it ahead of time (and thus Henderson's scramble to join the team), but they probably did understand the benefits.

And I don't care. Use the system to your advantage.

.. and that's where I landed with all of this. I'm not knocking the FO even a bit for any of it IF any of it is more than coincidence. Use the system that's given to you. I was just pointing out that a few of our injuries as of late have just been fortunate in their timings.
