I just took a look at the Angels offense stats. They've got some HR hitters - #5 in MLB in HRs and some guy named Adell leads the team with 36 of'em. TBH, I've never heard of him. But, their OPS is below average, and they're down at #23 in runs scored. So, it must be HR or nothing from these guys. The bottom of the order is not great.

Yeah this is kind of where you want to be right now.  Games are still meaningful but they're not in any immediate danger of falling into 2nd place.  I'd be more worried if they had an 11 game lead right now which would mean they wouldn't have another meaningful game for three weeks.

I didn't believe Uecker wrote that after hearing it ... surprised so many did.

Yeah, I mean, I get it... obviously there were some completely embellished things in there, but certainly Ueck could've believed we'd clinch the postseason again and penned a letter "just in case" to tell the guys congrats... but to completely fabricate it is super tacky.

Yeah.   The good vibes kind of went away.   Let’s just hope they win the division or that letter will be infamous in brewers history

Based on the pitching matchup, the Brewers should win this game 10-2 but I'll take any kind of win at this point.

The Pirates average about 0.14 runs per Skenes start seemingly, so this might be over already.

Skenes gave up two runs and threw 33 pitches in the 1st inning so I'm not getting my hopes up for a Pirates win tonight.  We just need to take care of our own business.
