You guys are all acting like the Cubs are some scrub team and not a team that won 90+ games this year

What a let down, I was sure of a sweep and yet here we are 20 minutes in and I am starting to worry I need to find something else to do. Pull it together guys.

Really surprised that anyone was expecting a sweep. I didn’t expect the Cubs to just lie down.

We are also acting like a team that hasn't overcome a 3 run deficit in the first inning...

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

We have 50 pitches of stress on our arms this inning and we are not even out of the 1st inning. On a day that everyone thought the wind would help us.

I was hopeful for a sweep, but in the back of my head, losing the series was the most Wisconsin outcome I could imagine. 70-pitch 1st inning feels like step 1 in that adventure.

I wasn't expecting a sweep.  I was expecting some competitive pitching.  Probably will yet, just not much of it this inning.

Because bad games never happen?

Yep. Neither this game, nor the series are over. Teams come back from 3 runs all the time, and they also win or lose 3 games in a row all the time.

So that's what the last two games felt like 🤣

I think we're all acting like Quinn and Nick should be able to pitch better. I don't see anyone questioning whether or not the Cubs are a good team.

I think most of us are just acting like we expected Priester to put up a competitive start.  Which he's been doing for months.

Stuff happens.  it's baseball.  4-1 isn't insurmountable.  Could have been significantly worse.

How many 3-2 counts were there? 7-8 pitch AB’s where cubs were fouling pitches off?
