Cool to win the division and beat the Cubs in NLDS.

However, getting humiliated in NLCS takes some of the steam out of the above.

Setting franchise and playoff records for offensive ineptitude this series is....also not good.

Seriously. Check the bat. This is some unexpected power that he hasn't shown until now.

Yeah 117 off the bat on that pitch out of the zone and down is not human. Somethjng else could be in play here

I rather they find Ted Williams frozen head somewhere instead of Yelich

You sound like a Cubs fan dude.

Are you from the North side by chance ??

I know you can’t read this, but there’s no way the mods are going to put up with you forever, caretaker or not.

Definitely. Ohtani hasn't been known for his power. This is a surprising outburst from him.

Absolute trash job by this offense.

Proud of Chourio and what he’s brought despite the hammy.

Everyone else can hit the damn batting cages all offseason.

Durbin hit the ball well in game 3

I mean if you had asked me if I’d rather have lost Game 5 to the Cubs I’d have said no, of course.

However, this is not exactly a desirable alternative….

We have veterans dude

Washed up vets.

Time for some new blood in the batting order.

Here we sit, elimination game, and we only got 1 hit in 5 innings.

Ohtani did that in 1 swing.

Man this sucks

It’s embarrassing. I was never going to be upset about losing this series, but this team has flat out humiliated themselves.

I have a feeling as the innings go by, we’re going to see more at bats like that. Trying to hit a 5 run HR and swinging at everything.

That's not our game.

You trot out Blake Perkins and Joey Ortiz against this pitching staff, you kind of get what you asked for.

Oh, I know that. But as the pressure tightens, because the game is getting closer to the end, it’s more than likely going to be a more undisciplined approach.

Someone forgot to tell almost every hitter in the lineup with the exception of Yelich, who looks like he forgot his legs back in September.

I was trying to agree with you but must have failed.

I would take beating the Cubs 100 out of 100 times if it meant getting swept by the Dodgers.

The problem with the 97 win brewers in this series is the guys we spend money on like Hoskins Yelich woodruff are nowhere to be found.   Somehow we have to do a better job when we do spend the money.   Does that mean Contreras, Peralta.   I don’t know.

I would too, with the caveat of being a bit competitive in getting swept by the Dodgers. This hasn’t been.

They look better than Yelich in this series … but he remains at the top of the order

So where is this series going to rank in baseball history's all time greatest embarrassments?

I'm guessing not too many teams have hit under .100 in a best of 7 so pretty high.
