• LHP DL Hall MLB rehab assignment transferred to Nashville from High-A Wisconsin

• RHP Peter Strzelecki released
• INF Jett Williams placed on the 7-day Injured List

"Adding to the level of difficulty in constructing deals is that two of the Brewers’ top prospects landed on Minor League injured lists Wednesday. Triple-A infielder Jett Williams (Brewers No. 5, overall No. 78) has been sidelined by a sprained left wrist and will be down another two to three weeks, and Double-A right-hander Bishop Letson (Brewers No. 9) saw his last start cut short by an oblique strain that is expected to sideline him for at least three to five weeks."

Congratulations to versatile 20-year-old switch-hitting Luis Lameda of the Warbirds on his promotion to Wisconsin.

Lameda took his OBP-reliant game from the Mudcats in 2025 and benefited from a jump in BABIP this year, but I would imagine that was accompanied by some increased bat speed and exit velocity. Regardless, as his fielding page shows, Manager Nick Stanley should be able to plug the Venezuelan native in where needed given the current state of the promotion-depleted Timber Rattlers roster.

This is a paper move to free up a stateside roster spot as the 2025 5th round pick out of Princeton has yet to debut in pro ball. Apparently, he has faced setbacks since these videos were posted in February.

Congrats to Brailyn!  I was just looking how he really improved over the past 6 weeks. Wilson is now full, and would expect some movement to the beleaguered T-Rats clubs- could Ebel or even Encarnacion be on the move? Or Bonet or Carra??

• Wisconsin Timber Rattlers activated LHP Bjorn Johnson from the 7-day injured list.

Wow, rapid one-season rise for Niksch, non-drafted free agent to AA.

Johnson had been sidelined since June 8th, good for him also.
