I'm excited to find out if one is worthy this year. I was just curious. I ask because I remember how passionate you were to trade everyone away at the deadline last summer and so that coupled with this made me think you don't put much weight in the future waves of guys.

I definitely feel strongly that we can win now with a couple of moves to bring in mlb ready talent. I do realize they have a ton of prospects so a balance hopefully can be struck.

I do, and as of right now, we do not have any 1B that can step in on opening day and make an impact. 

Adams, Burke, Fischer, etc are not ready, but hopefully one of them can be ready to go in 2027, er, ummmm, 2028 if we don't play in 2027...

Wonderful. 

I wasn't implying we did. Also, the OG poster was talking about positional depth during the season if our 1B options failed, not opening day options.

I imagine if something happened and the Brewers found themselves in need of more options to start at 1B at the big league level they'd do what they did last season and make a trade.

Their depth is league wide.

Regarding Suarez vs Durbin, the Brewers appear to have gone with Option C. Will be curious to see what that is.
