LHP Tate Kuehner (2.77 ERA in 110.1 AA/AAA IP in 2025) and the AAA Sounds need a Sunday win at Norfolk to avoid a 3-0 series sweep. RF Greg Jones is 5-for-8 with 3 RBIs and 2 SB thru 2 games.

Kuehner has to be the most underrated arm we have in our system.

He was great the second-half of last year, fantastic in ST and now off to nice start in this game.

Hard to believe the starter arm talent we have developing in our organization.

It is. And I thought Sproat was a... similar pitcher to a young Burnes. He was a little too similar to 2019 Burnes(in ONE start) but I just have absolute faith these guys will figure it out.
Whichrowski, Kuehner, Hardin.

And they're probably not in the top 10 yet in terms of starting pitching options.

Still, I'd love to see a 1st rd pick on a high upside prep arm.

Yeah, not too optimistic on Wichrowski as a starter. Maybe middle-relief but his stuff has regressed, imo, since he burst onto the scene in ST a couple of years back when he was touching 100 with a nasty slider. Hoping they have him relieving from this point on.

As far as the 1st round pick — I’m hoping they add an OF, hopefully of the college variety that can potentially reach MKE in a couple of years. That’s the 1 system weakness we have. Need more OF talent besides Payne & Adamczewski and a couple of 17/18 year olds.

I think this team has such good scouting of pitching, both amateur & pro, along with maybe the best pitching development in the game that they will develop TOR starter arms without a first round pick, like they did before with Woodruff-Burnes & Peralta.

Sounds won 6-2, looks like a quality Kuehner start with contributions on offense across the board.

Turns out we encountered technical difficulties regarding the Link Report on this game that Ro Mueller posted faithfully during the overnight, but has yet to translate into our home page and forum. If the delay is not resolved within the next hour or so, we'll post it here in raw form. Even with just the one game, plenty of good knowledge was passed along. Apologies to Ro (Daniel)!
