Feel free to discuss which prospect bats and arms are ready for a bump up in competition, when and why.

However, please remember that we do not speculate on potential cuts. Thank you.

While a lot of our collective attention has been on Blake Burke (.960 OPS), Mark Manfredi (48.3 K% in 7.1 IP), Josh Adamczewski (1.301 OPS), Luis Pena (1.060 OPS) and Luis Lara (.953 OPS), I’m looking at the relatively short-handed Shuckers’ staff.

Maybe 23-year old RHP Michael Fowler (2.45 ERA, 0.95 WHIP, 8.6 K/9 in 7.1 IP this year) will get the bump up to AA ball to help them out.

LHP Anfernny Reyes (44 K% in 8.0 IP) or RHP Garrett Hodges (3.86 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, 9.6 K/9 in 9.1 IP) could then back-fill into Wisconsin from Wilson.

Five days after Tyler Black returned to AAA Nashville from an injury absence and Pat Murphy speculated on a possible promotion, he's been called up to the Show for his first MLB action since August 2025.

And Jordyn Adams is getting the bump up to AAA to bring Nashville back to 11 position players.

Is it time for Josh Adamczewski (1.259 OPS in 51 PAs) to get the promotion to AA Biloxi's outfield?

Adamczewski was my first thought when I saw the Adams promotion to Nashville.

Was Adams the primary CF in Biloxi? Are we not certain it won't be Payne who gets moved up first if someone does move?

Dasan Brown is our primary CF in Biloxi.

It had looked like Adamczewski might HAVE to start the season in AA, but then we signed Hurtubise (now in AAA), Adams, Brown and Keith. And now we’ve added Mark Coley as well. And we also have Kay-Lan Nicasia on the Development List.

It's time to move Dinges up. Other than that, I don't see anyone else at the moment.

I believe there's room in Biloxi's outfield for Adamczewski.

It wouldn't shock me but he is learning a new position and has only had around 100 ABs in Appleton. I think he will move up around midseason.

Pratt now has a 96 wrc+.  If he continues this trajectory, he may be only a few weeks away.  Rengifo/Ortiz are doing nothing to block him right now.  Cool to see Wikens heat up as well.  3b/ss is ripe for the taking if these guys get hot.  I'd take Leonard right now over Rengifo.

Agreed on Pratt.  It's not going to take much for the Brewers to call him up, given what they're dealing with at SS right now.  A couple more weeks of sustained success and we might see him in mid-May.

I’d like to see Damon Keith get bumped up to AAA. He’s almost 26 and has 752 PA at the AA level.

I was preaching small sample alert with Luis Lara early on but I feel he has surpassed that threshold now.  139PA of 970 OPS and 158 wRC+.  His BB% and K% are both 12.9% and even his BABIP has dropped from well over .400 to a sustainable .358.  His defense is exceptional.  Are there any more red flags that this isnt real?

Doubtful he can keep up this kind of power in the majors but it gives me hope he could be a 10-15 HR guy at his peak, which is way more than I expected.

I dont really see a spot for him right now, but with Mitchell coming back to earth, it might not be long before he forces a decision to call him up.  Have to think we would see him by June at this rate.

Seems time to deal some excess 1B/OF for pitching to make room for some of these guys. Black and Bauers should have some value. Not like we dont have another wave of outfielders coming right behind them, either.

He’s over performing his xwOBA by 134 points. 42 of his 101 batted balls on the season have a negative launch angle. How he’s produced does not appear to be sustainable.

Wilson’s down to 13 active pitchers, which seems like a risky experiment. Must be some more moves coming.

19-year old RHP Ma’Kale Holden has solid early results in the ACL. 20-year old RHP Ismael Yanez seems like a promotion candidate.

This is about the time of the year (June) when the brewers have tried to sign some indy ball or other milb players to fill in rosters, maybe a good time to look for a live arm somewhere to fill in the lower ranks at least. Although Wilson will be back up soon as I suspect Quezada is more there to cover the weekend in Nashville until the Mil-Nash shuttling calms down again.

I believe it was @wiguy94 who suggested waiting until Super 2 cutoff to promote Jett. I don't know what that day is. Does anyone?

The lowest the Super 2 threshold has been since 2009 is 2.115. To be extremely safe and wait for the .114 years of service time cut off you could call him up on June 7th. But it can vary a lot. This year Super 2 was 2.140 for reference. If they are waiting for Super 2 reasons, I’d say that first week of June would be the realistic time to expect a call up.

I know he isn't on the 40-man roster but goodness, I think Eddys Leonard deserves a chance to see if he can continue to hit in the big leagues. He isn't part of future plans really, so if he doesn't come up and hit, really no harm done and could pivot to Jett or Pratt then after a month or so of ABs for Leonard. Could DFA Carlos Rodriguez as I don't think he makes it past this season anyway, has an ERA north of 8 in Nashville. We are 6+ weeks into the season and Leonard has an OPS above 1.000

yeah i cant understand why he isnt at least in the conversation. He's only 25, plays a position we need some power from and is really hitting the ball well.
