Hamilton hitting against a LHP in the 8th inning down 1 run is a major indictment on the roster.

Because they would have brought in Doval and Joey against right-handers is really bad and the only hope you would have is a walk.

I would've taken those chances rather than watch Hamilton attempt to bunt again.

As soon as the pitcher goes out to start warming up for the inning they have to face at least one batter or complete their 3 batter minimum so they could have hit Ortiz there against the LHP
