I get he's the tying run, but it's only the 7th, I hate pinch running for Vaughn there.  Now there's a decent chance Perkins is up in the 9th with the game on the line.

3-1 and Frelick squares to bunt but takes a strike, the lofts a lazy fly ball to CF. I would've pinch hit Perkins for Frelick.

Yeah I didn't like this move at all. Vaughn likely going to get another AB.

 Hard to think a Sal Frelick AB this year that didn’t end in massive disappointment. There haven’t been many.

That was a pretty big bat to take out of the lineup for absolutely no pinch running benefit. He wasn’t even in scoring position.

It's a stars and scrubs lineup but we took away a couple stars and replaced them with a couple more scrubs.

Rengifo honestly looks totally cooked to me. Just don't think he has anything left to offer MLB. Even when he has a good swing and connects he barely gets the ball to the warning track.

If he was all but assured another at bat there's no way I'm pinch running for him right there. You don't take your third best hitter out of the lineup with and at bat left and you're still behind

Even if that was a ball which it clearly wasn't, that would have been a good challenge just because of how high leverage it was.
