So the umpire said Milwaukee will retain their challenge but they took it away.  They need to get this sorted out now.  If ABS wasn't working at the stadium then it should be considered no challenge and we should have two.  not the one they have us at.

Do they still have troughs for urinals there?

Maybe you can volunteer to run their ABS gear, which I'm sure would have worked if the Cubs wanted it to.

Murphy needs to get on the ump in between innings and tell him we have 2 challenges remaining because it's obvious the umpires and literally anybody else who can change it isn't going to.

Hey the Brewers score bug gave us our challenge back!  Now show us the Wrigley one to make sure the umps know we have two.

I walked away for a second, I thought they challenged another pitch.

THAT is from the Sproat challenge on the 2-0 count where they couldn't review it? That's... insane. Of course they should have both.

That's great that it's been confirmed by MLB but the Wrigley scoreboard still shows 1.  Has MLB let Murphy know that we have both challenges?

Someone on the broadcast can't get a confirmation on the challenges left??

They said the Brewers retain their challenge, so I think it's a graphic error or...something.

Anyway... love watching Sproat throw.

The ump literally said "The call on the field stands.  Milwaukee retains their challenge."  Because there was a problem getting the pitch on the scoreboard to overturn so you can't change the call if they can't see it and you can't punish the Brewers for challenging a play that can't be seen.

When the ump said that they planned to Counsell who had a look on his face like why do they get to keep their challenge.

The problem was when the ump said the call on the field stands everyone just stopped listening to the ump and assumed that the Brewers lost the challenge.

Yeah, I saw that. I just...assumed there was another challenge when I saw there was only 1.

Anyway, I'm sure Murphy and the Brewers knew they've got both.

On another topic, how is Pratt's throwing arm? On par with Ortiz or not quite as strong?

Sproat will be a guy we will let develop at the ML level. With a little more command, he will be a stud.

Also I hope the Cubs keep hitting everything at Joey.

Yeah Murphy and the team literally just found out now they have two challenges because the crew chief just announced it.

LOL, "the home team doesn't have the ability to change challenges" - micky mouse show here by MLB

But also, that's all he said....he could have also explained why they retained it. Would have avoided a lot of confusion.

That... was one of the nastiest curveballs I've seen to Bucsh on that 0-1 count by Sproat...

Even the one that hit Busch had nasty movement.

Mis, Harrison and Sproat=Burnes, Woodruff and Peralta when it's all said and done?
