oof, bad decision Brice.

The stuff generally plays, but he essentially has no idea where the ball is going at any given moment. We'll see if the control improves over the course of the year and beyond. He's good enough to be end of rotation right now with some potential to be a bit better.

I just don’t know what to think of Sproat. The stuff is there, but I trust him about as much as a wet fart. He teeters on the edge of disaster almost every inning.

He's given up one run against the Champs in 4 innings so far. The overreactions are a little wild. It is clear that he has some development left but this is so much better than throwing out some washed up vet.

He has put 4 runners on for free in 4 innings and stranded 5 runners in scoring position in 4 innings, Ohtani alone has left 3 of them on.

I appreciate the 1 run allowed result but let’s not pretend it’s due to some amazing pitching today rather than just random baseball results.

He has gotten some big K’s in big situations. I think that’s about the most positive thing today that he’s done.

He's only given up one run because he has extremely good stuff. His lack of control is the key part of the development that will hopefully come with experience.

A .589 OPS for Sal Frelick just doesn’t play,

If you’re looking for two guys in the lineup who gotta give us better ABs to have the offense we want, look no further than Frelick and Yelich.

Everyone else is doing what can reasonably be expected from their hitting abilities.

Facing Ohtani twice in big scoring situations and coming out unscathed and not attributing any of that to luck is crazy.

I grant you his stuff plays, But he’s been fortunate today.
