, the ballpark had something like a 240ft LF distance & a young OF named Gorman Thomas enjoyed himself.

You're memory is too kind, its was 233 feet according to this article from mlb, which labeled it the most HR friendly team in history.

https://www.mlb.com/news/sacramento-solons-historic-home-run-hitters

Nearly 500 HR hit in that park that year, with 2 games seeing 14 homers. After seeing a game in Vegas, dont think id enjoy watching that ×2.

If Fischer keeps this up how many games in AA would be a minimum until a promotion 100 abs?150? If he averages a HR every other game he will be knocking at the Brewers door in no time.

Do we think Payne, Bitonti, Dinges among other will get a AA call later in July after we sign draft picks to bolster there potential promotions.

Pretty sure they had some hitter friendly affiliates in the 1980's too.

I remember thinking Billy Jo Robidoux (.342 with 23 HR and 132 RBI) and Joey Meyer (.304 with 37 HR and 123 RBI) were bound for stardom when I saw their 1985 El Paso stats on the back of their baseball cards, to say nothing of their visages on the front.

Yep. It was nothing like the LF distance in Sac, but El Paso was very hitter friendly, too. I think that's where Lavelle Freeman hit .370 or something like that.

Thomas & journeyman Bill McNulty both went for over 50 one year playing in Sacramento.

Also Glenn Braggs...who was built like an NFL edge rusher.

Is Wilken finally starting to come around hopefully he finally past that horrible injury

.878 OPS for the month of June.

I know that even if this is the case the team can't disclose this because it's HIPAA PHI, but it would not surprise me if he had more eye therapy done in the time he was out of the lineup.  Eye injuries have a tendency to not fully heal.
