We haven't used much ink on 3rd year RH reliever Justin Lugo this season, but the 20-year-old's (21 in November) 23 strikeouts in 13.1 innings are worth noting - but also with 12 free passes. Good for the young man, he's an All-Star, and they can't take that away from him.

18-year old RHP Diustin Mayorquin (3 IP, 0 R, 4 Ks in Low-A debut last week) and Wilson need a Sunday victory to avoid a 3-game series sweep at Hickory. CF Alexander Frias has 2 homers and 11 RBIs over his last 4 games.

LHP DL Hall makes a rehab start (first appearance since June 4) for High-A Wisconsin as they aim to prevent a 3-game home sweep at the hands of Quad Cities. DH/INF Luis Pena is 7-for-15 with 4 doubles over his last 4 games.

Though no Brewers started the DSL All-Star Game, INF Ricki Moneys just entered in the fourth inning, singled the other way, stole a base and scored as the NL squad added 2 runs to grow their lead to 4-1.

Wilson have come out roaring in Hickory, batting around in the first inning and scoring 6 runs, before running into a lightning delay (still with just 2 outs).

Hope they resume play, so this game will count…

The game is showing as suspended now, so I guess they’ll resume play when they’re back in Hickory in August.

welp, T-Rats are being no hit. ANd Josh Knoth with a rare bad outing.  T-Rats been just dominated by Quad Cities. Today Kendry Chourio the highly regarded stud pitching prospect for KC (an 18 year old pitcher in high A) is mowing down the T-Rats hitters.  Bummer.

Game will be played August 25th in Wilson apart of a doubleheader.

Wagoner with a 1-2-3 inning with a strikeout and two can of corn flyouts in his first AAA inning. His FB sat 97 in the inning and topped out at 98.6. High spin at 2400rpm on the FB and the two breaking balls he threw were around 2900mph

Crow with a great outing.

6IP 1H 0R 2BB 6K.

It would be fantastic if he could be an option for the big-club as a depth starter or bullpen arm at some point in the second-half.

It would also be fantastic if Wild Bill remembered Crow's best offerings are his off-speed (particularly that zesty curve) pitches. His best quality his movement profile. You know, en lieu of a buffet of four-seam fastballs...just sayin'.

Also, is this the best pop and toss we've seen from C Darrien Miller? Heck of a throw:

Siani is a guy who has stolen over 50 bases in a season in his career and he also has a 45 SB season. Stole 28-of-33 attempts in 2025. For whatever reasons, he hasn't had all that much success (or attempts) in 2026 but, regardless, that's a really nice piece of work from Miller.

I was there for this one.

No hitter against us, not one single hit, and not really any threats that might have been a hit.  The error on the 2B was truly an error, so it was a real multiple pitcher no hitter.

Ugly.

Just a little sidenote, I got Payne's auto after the game (auto Sunday) and he said he'd never played on a team in his life that got no hit, including little league...

Nice catch and a nice little run by Black.

@Joseph Zarr- you linked Black;s catch again in that post above - would love to see Miller CS throw.

Thank you, my friend! I will change it!
